Festival ZAND 2026 opens on Thursday with City Organ in the Sand, a unique musical experience on the City Beach.

Under the direction of Martin Mans and his musical guests, you will hear the organ like you have never experienced it before. Not only impressive classical works, but also recognizable film music, from iconic soundtracks to modern classics, specially performed on the largest open-air organ in the Netherlands.

The combination of the powerful organ sound, live musicians, and the open air creates a special atmosphere.

Friday evening is dedicated to Classical in the Sand, a special evening where music, atmosphere, and togetherness come together at the City Beach.

Under the direction of André Heuvelman & The Orchestra of Tomorrow, you will experience an open-air concert full of contrast and emotion. From serene moments to powerful musical highlights, a program that touches, surprises, and connects.

No traditional concert hall, but the sand under your feet and the open air all around you.

That makes this evening accessible, relaxed, and at the same time of a high standard.
Within this year's theme, Utopia, it revolves around that one feeling:
getting away from the hustle and bustle for a moment and enjoying the music, each other, and the moment together.

From 9:00 PM, the City Beach transforms into a place where you don't just listen, but truly experience.

Cellists & Sisters is a Spanish duo who bring us closer to the music of their childhood through their cellos. A journey through traditional Spanish melodies and Latin American boleros, which they played in their living room for their family.
